About Arrowsmith Lodge 

 

Arrowsmith Lodge is situated in the heart of Gregson Lane Village, Hoghton, an area rich in local history and surrounded by some of Lancashire's most beautiful countryside.

 

The village offers a range of local amenities and shopping facilities, while nearby towns and major motorway links provide excellent accessibility. The home is also convenient for visitors, with ample on-site parking and regular local bus services.

Originally opened in the 1980s as a residential care home for older people with accommodation for 18 residents, Arrowsmith Lodge has grown to meet the needs of the local community.

 

Following a major refurbishment and extension in 2008, the home's capacity increased to 22 residents. A further extension completed in 2010 added additional bedrooms, bringing the total capacity to 35 residents, along with the creation of a sensory garden designed to enhance residents' wellbeing.

Today, Arrowsmith Lodge is a privately owned residential care home offering high-quality accommodation and compassionate, person-centred care for up to 35 residents in a warm, safe, and welcoming environment.
